Hope Pages Press is open for submissions. For more information about our submissions process, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions. If your question isn’t answered there, please feel free to ask us via email at contact@hopepagespress.com.
Before You Submit
Ensure that your work has been edited prior to submission. We do have editors to work with you in perfecting your work, but the work should arrive having been checked for basic copy editing and content editing to ensure a smooth publication process. While we know that typos happen, Hope Pages Press will not consider work with too many errors. It is also encouraged to have your work beta-read by a trusted voice to help ensure the flow of your writing.
How to Submit
Please send submissions to submissions@hopepagespress.com with the word “Submission” in the subject.
In the body of the email please include the following:
- Your legal name, and (if applicable) the pseudonym you’d like to use for publishing

- Genre and word count of your manuscript
- A general description of your story/manuscript (Think of the blurb you might read on the back of the book!)

Please include the following attachments:
- The manuscript in its entirety.
- A short, complete synopsis of your story [fiction] or abstract [non-fiction] (This should include all of the major plot points including the ending, and is unnecessary for Anthology entries)
- Your Marketing statement (See FAQ for more details)
Formatting Your Attachments
To make things easier for us, please use the following formatting options on your manuscript:
- Files should be formatted as .doc, .docx, .rtf, or .txt. In lieu of these formats we will also accept a link to a Google document.
- When formatting your document please use:
- 1 in/2.5cm margins
- .5 in/1.25cm indent for paragraphs (please use the top ruler to format rather than tab or spacebar)
- An easy to read size 12 serif font face (i.e. Times New Roman)
- Page numbers in the upper left corner of the page
- Author name and title in the upper right corner of the page (John Doe/Title of Book)
- A title page with working title and author name centered
- Please ensure that spellings are consistent. We have no preference over American English or Commonwealth English in regards to spelling, but it must be consistent throughout the work.
